As a Quality Control Inspector, you will conduct in-process inspections and quality verification activities to ensure aerospace components meet rigorous engineering, customer, and regulatory standards. Using precision measuring instruments and examining technical documentation, you will support product quality and compliance through all manufacturing stages.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform in-process inspections of products against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.Conduct thorough receiving, production, and shipping inspections as necessary.Utilize precision measuring tools to assess product conformity.Interpret engineering documents, specifications, and quality standards effectively.Document and communicate any nonconformances, supporting necessary corrective actions.Ensure all manufacturing and inspection processes are completed before advancing to the next stage.Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality documentation, and routing procedures for traceability.Confirm the calibration and suitability of inspection equipment for use.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to efficiently address quality issues.Recommend improvements to quality standards and inspection methods.Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.Minimum of 1 year of experience in aviation, manufacturing, or quality inspection.Experience with dimensional and visual inspections in aviation-related contexts.Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.Familiarity with precision measuring and inspection tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to document and communicate inspection findings accurately.Effective problem-solving and organizational abilities.Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in an aviation-related field.FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.Experience in aerospace manufacturing or repair stations.Knowledge of quality systems and industry standards.Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.Work Environment:

This position is set within a manufacturing and inspection environment, emphasizing collaboration between production and quality teams.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and manual handling of materials and components.Regular use of precision measuring instruments and computer systems is required.Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as dictated by designated areas.This role may necessitate flexibility in hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on operational demands. Non-exempt employees will be compensated for overtime in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
